They have koalas and kangaroos in cages. If you do the koala encounter, you can have a picture with a koala. If you do breakfast with koalas, you can eat with koalas around you.

Despite being years too late, the food is fine for those with gluten intolerance. It’s scrambled eggs, baked beans, beef sausage, bacon, hashbrown potato, mushrooms, tomatoes, and toast is available but easy to pass up. Juice, tea and instant coffee.
I would love to do this and take a photo with the kangaroo. Is this possible here?

There is a small kangaroo enclosure at this zoo. There is a rope separating people from the kangaroo but you can get close enough for a photo but you would not be able to touch one.

We didn’t see quokka while we were there, but I think the zoo has them. No petting.
