Denver Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders injured a tendon in his foot Saturday in training camp. The injury will cause him to miss significant time and potentially put his availability for Week 1 in question, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

"Broncos LB Drew Sanders, an up-and-coming defender, suffered a tendon injury in his foot in practice that will keep him out an extended period of time, sources say post-MRI," Rapoport wrote on X. "Sanders is not expected back before the season begins and further testing will determine what's next."

Broncos wide receiver A.T. Perry ( ankle) remains on the physically unable to perform list, and inside linebacker Drew Sanders (foot) is set to miss an " extended period " after suffering a tendon injury Saturday. Denver coach Sean Payton indicated Sanders will be out for north of four to six weeks.
