Starting pitcher Corbin Burnes left the game against the Washington Nationals in the 5th inning with an apparent arm injury.

Eugenio Suárez homered to cap Arizona’s three-run first inning in a 3-1 victory over the Washington Nationals 3-1 but the Diamondbacks might have lost starting pitcher Corbin Burnes to an elbow injury.

Last night was an offensive thriller for the Nats, who scored nine runs for a third straight game. Both James Wood and Josh Bell have homered in all three of those games. Those guys will look to stay hot in the second game of a three game set against the Diamondbacks.
