The San Francisco 49ers have made the big commitment to quarterback Brock Purdy with a massive contract extension this offseason, but a former NFL wide receiver has made his feelings on the deal perfectly clear.

Purdy has been a bonafide star since taking over as San Francisco's starting quarterback in 2022. He's facing pressure and there was frustration following the 2024 season, but keeping him in town was a must. The 49ers may have overpaid, but Purdy will look to quiet those comments in the coming years.
