Eight years after she was forced to pull out of Rock in Rio due to severe medical issues, Lady Gaga is finally coming back to Brazil. On Friday (Feb. 21), the superstar announced a special Mayhem on the Beach performance at the capital's Praia de Copacabana.

Lady Gaga is returning to Rio de Janeiro for a concert seven years after having to cancel her performance at Rock in Rio after being hospitalized in Brazil for "severe physical pain."

Lady Gaga will perform what should be a huge free concert on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach on May 3, the singer confirmed on social media today. Gaga, whose new album Mayhem is set for a March 7 release,
