One of the most amusing highlights of NBA All-Star Weekend this year involved San Antonio Spurs star Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama, who found a loophole during the Skills Challenge competition and ran with it.

Chris Paul claimed that he and Wembanyama had received clearance to try the unusual tactic in the All-Star game before the event began.

The other Spurs in the top 20 of the most games played is Tim Duncan, at 11th, amassed over 19 seasons, and Kevin Willis, who won a ring with the Spurs in 2004. Moses Malone ended his career by playing 17 games for the Spurs.

Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama thought they'd figured out a loophole. It only got them disqualified in San Francisco. "We tried something that we thought we could win," Paul said. Neither Wembanyama or Paul attempted a genuine jump shot during the challenge,

Paul, a 12-time All-Star, backed up this claim further on Wednesday night after reaching another historic career milestone. The 39-year-old was in the starting lineup for San Antonio's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, which marked his 1,336th career game.
