Desmond Ridder is leaving the Las Vegas Raiders for more familiar pastures. On Sunday, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network confirmed that the quarterback has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Cincinnati Bengals have dipped into the free-agency market to add a quarterback to their ranks. The Cincinnati Bengals have reached an agreement with free agent quarterback Desmond Ridder, who brings NFL experience from stints with the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals (practice squad), and Atlanta Falcons.

When the Bengals signed Ridder over the weekend, that was the first thing that popped up. But there’s quite a bit more. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, for example, was the one to offer Ridder a scholarship to join the Bearcats in the first place.
With Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham already there, the No. 3 quarterback in Denver is likely playing for a spot on the practice squad. The Broncos had a unique situation last year with Nix, Stidham and Wilson and chose to keep all three QBs on the 53-man roster, but that is not likely to happen this season.
