Dozens of demonstrators gathered outside the U.S. embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Friday to protest against the proposed appointment of Nick Adams, a self-styled "alpha male" influencer, as the United States' envoy to Malaysia.

"Through struggle and sacrifice, I’ve learned power doesn’t come from a podium, it comes from the people," said Memphis activist Jose Salazar.

Hundreds gathered in DC Thursday night at Franklin Park in Northwest to rally and protest their opposition to the Trump White House.

A rally on Palm Beach protesting President Donald Trump and his policies almost became violent Thursday night as protesters clashed with dozens of Trump supporters.The rally began just after 7 p.m. with a small group of Trump opponents marching from the Southern Bridge toward Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

The volunteer-led 50501 movement — which stands for 50 protests in 50 states on 1 day — has organized several national peaceful protests since February. The group is responsible for the April 5 "Hands off!" demonstration and the June 14 "No Kings" protest.
