Emma Raducanu got off to a winning start at Wimbledon on Monday, earning a straight-sets 6-3, 6-3 win over British wild card Mingge Xu.

US Open champion Emma Raducanu ousted her 17-year-old compatriot Mingge (Mimi) Xu in the first round of Wimbledon, their home Grand Slam, on Monday. Raducanu will face another Grand Slam titlist in the second round -- 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova.
