Ciattarelli, the Republican nominee, won Tuesday’s primary with Trump’s endorsement, but he’s now shifting his focus to the Democrats running state government.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill, four-term former Navy congresswoman and former Navy helicopter pilot, easily prevailed over five other Democrats for the party’s nomination for governor.

As for Mr. Ciattarelli, she said, “I am ready to shake up the status quo, and Jack is the status quo.”
