Garrett Mitchell — widely known to his millions of YouTube followers as Cleetus McFarland — will trade the camera for a steering wheel once again as he gears up for his third career ARCA Menards Series start in Friday night’s General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Keep the All-Star Race in North Wilkesboro another year. NASCAR can then give this historic track in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains a points race in 2027. That could allow NASCAR to move the All-Star Race to Bowman Gray Stadium, giving that track an event in May the week before the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Charlotte Motor Speedway hosted the NASCAR All-Star Race from 1987 until 2019. Ahead of this weekend’s iteration at North Wilkesboro Speedway, the third time it’ll be the cathedral, Brad Keselowski believes it’s time to return the sport returns to their roots.

Cleetus McFarland is scheduled to compete in the next ARCA Menards Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 23. He is likely to be driving for Rette Jones Racing in the event.

Spire Motorsports announced NASCAR veteran B.J. McLeod will pilot the team’s No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway where Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster will be showcased as the team’s primary sponsor.
