Fresh off surviving Denver in a seven-game series, the Oklahoma City Thunder are heavy favorites to claim the NBA title ahead of conference finals.

Caruso stepped up in the Thunder's 125-93 Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets. He finished with 11 points and three steals, but his one-on-one defense against Nikola Jokic swung the game to the home squad's favor.

For the first time in nearly a decade, the OKC Thunder is headed to the Western Conference finals. To get there, it took surviving the Denver Nuggets.

The Thunder left no doubt in Game 7, dismantling the Nuggets behind 22 forced turnovers and a swarming defense.

The Oklahoma City Thunder franchise has one title in its history, that coming in 1979 when the team called Seattle home. And the Minnesota Timberwolves have never even been to the NBA Finals.

In the end it was a 125-93 OKC win that puts the Thunder through to the Western Conference Finals, taking the series 4-3. Minnesota will be in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night to open the West finals.
