The FAA is investigating after a Sun Country Airlines Boeing 737 returned to Los Angeles International Airport with flames streaking from its right engine Monday.

City leaders and residents in Pembroke Pines are voicing their concerns following this weekend’s plane crash near North Perry Airport, which has been involved in dozens of crashes in recent years.

Dubbed Jovari Jetspeed, the expeditious system allegedly has the potential to slash “millions of hours and billions of expenses from air travel.”
