The Pokémon Company shared a teaser and release window for "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" during its Pokémon Presents event Thursday on Pokémon Day.

After a year of no news following its announcement on Pokémon Day 2024, Pokémon Legends: Z-A finally has a release window, with the game set to be released in late 2025. The release window for the new game was announced during a Pokémon Presents livestream that took place today celebrating Pokémon Day — the anniversary of the series' first release date in Japan.

According to the new Pokemon rumor, the Pokemon Legends: Z-A release date is June 26, 2025. June 26 is a Thursday, which is the preferred release day for Nintendo as of late. Traditionally though Pokemon games have typically released on Fridays. That said, there hasn’t been a new Pokemon game since Nintendo switch to its Thursday strategy.
