Week 2 of training camp is underway across the NFL. For some teams, this is when the action truly begins to distinguish itself from the prior offseason workouts as they now transition to padded practices.

Orlando Magic rookie Jase Richardson signs multi-year Nike deal following impressive NBA Summer League debut in Las Vegas.

There are Twins starters whose names are tangled up in trade rumors, and there are those working their way back from injuries. Then, in between them, there's Simeon Woods Richardson: a young hurler happy to keep taking the hill and chopping wood.

As you know by now, Richardson was a superstar freshman for Michigan State this past season. He averaged 12.1 points per game and shot above 40% from three-point range. His strong play throughout the season turned Richardson into a clear-cut NBA Draft first round pick.

The campus officially closed its doors in May 2025 as part of Richardson ISD’s Project RightSize consolidation plan. Dallas County and Richardson ISD were able to strike a deal to repurpose the campus into a resource hub.
