A runaway pet zebra that was on the loose for more than a week in Tennessee and became an internet sensation in the process was captured Sunday, authorities said.

Ed the Zebra, who was on the loose for more than a week in Tennessee, has been found and returned home “safe and 100% healthy.” Crews located the runaway pet zebra in a rural area and airlifted him by helicopter to an animal trailer nearby.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, which had been searching for the animal for nearly a week, said that it was found on Sunday and returned to its owner.
