The Hardys returned to TNA at roughly the same time the company started a crossover with WWE’s NXT brand. There’s been speculation Matt & Jeff could return to WWE via this inter-promotional alliance ever since,

This NXT appearance is Jeff Hardy’s first time back with WWE since 2021, when he was released by the company after leaving through the crowd during a house show match. Matt said Jeff wants to make things right with WWE and show them that his past erratic behavior is over.

The Hardy Boyz return to WWE NXT next week, and The Chadster couldn't be happier to see them learning how to wrestle properly again after their time in that other company!  

In recent years, the Hardys have spent time with AEW and TNA, where they're currently signed until later this year. During Tuesday's episode of NXT, the Hardys made their first appearance on WWE TV in multiple years.

The Hardys are set to compete on WWE NXT. On the February 18th episode of WWE NXT, No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights, Myles Borne, and Charlie Dempsey) confronted NXT Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom backstage.
