After a failed $13 million attempt to launch ferry service from Kaiser Park, the city is testing new waters off Steeplechase Pier.

The project is part of city’s broad redevelopment efforts of the neighborhood, including $1B+ in boardwalk renovations.

The head of Rybak Development previously raised roughly $28,000 for Mayor Eric Adams’ first mayoral run, but he was not registered as a bundler with the city’s Campaign Finance Board.
