A bear that came within feet of a young boy playing in his family's Connecticut driveway was chased off by the boy's protective pet dog.

A Connecticut family's home security camera captures a husky jumping between a charging bear and a child as the animal races across the driveway.

The dog immediately sprinted after the bear, closed the distance in a matter of moments, and appeared to bite the animal before chasing it away from both the child and the home.
