STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Georgia Southern’s bowl eligibility hopes took a major hit Saturday as the Eagles fell to Old Dominion 45-10 in their final home game of the season.

Saturday's loss now makes this final game a must-win if the Eagles want to secure bowl eligibility. Marshall is in the same position, setting up a true do-or-die matchup — winner moves on to a bowl, loser sees the season end.

Old Dominion’s red hot football team played perhaps its most complete game of the season, as the Monarchs racked up 376 rushing yards, the second-most in school history, and rolled to a 45-10 victory over Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon at Allen E.
