Jim Scanlon, a former Ukrop’s Super Markets Inc. executive charged with leading the transition and integration with Martin’s Food Markets after the sale of the local chain, has left Martin’s.
More than 2,500 Martin’s Food Markets employees have been laid off since the chain began closing its 19 area stores in November. The last stores closed earlier this month.
