Russell Wilson announced his retirement on Wednesday and received a lot of congratulatory messages on Instagram. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes was among the former and current players from around the NFL who sent well wishes to Wilson following a successful 14-year career.

Now he’s calling it quits — at least as a player.

Ciara’s message of support comes after Wilson confirmed he is retiring from professional football after serving 14 seasons as a quarterback for various franchises over 14 seasons.
