Kevin Williamson, who wrote the script for the original Scream, Scream 2 and Scream 4, directs the seventh installment. The movie follows Sidney’s storyline as a mother. Campbell has appeared as the franchise’s final girl in every film except Scream VI (2023), from which she bowed out due to salary disputes.
