From the parking lot on the western side of Torrey Pines Park Road, take the trail that heads toward the ocean. It’s marked with a sign for the Beach Trail, Razor Point, Red Butte and Yucca Point.
The trail continues for about 2 miles, ending at the second entrance along Flintkote Avenue in Sorrento Valley, which is the turnaround point if you began your journey from the Torrey Pines entrance.
