From the parking lot on the western side of Torrey Pines Park Road, take the trail that heads toward the ocean. It’s marked with a sign for the Beach Trail, Razor Point, Red Butte and Yucca Point.

The trail continues for about 2 miles, ending at the second entrance along Flintkote Avenue in Sorrento Valley, which is the turnaround point if you began your journey from the Torrey Pines entrance.

The visitor center parking area is about 1.5 miles up Torrey Pines Park Rd. Free parking, if available, is by the beach on N. Torrey Pines Rd. Hiking length: 1.3 miles total out-and-back.
