After a “hard few days” in the hospital, Lindsey Vonn may be on her way out soon. On Friday afternoon, the three-time Olympic medalist posted a near two-minute video to her socials, updating her status in her road to recovery after she suffered a major tibia fracture in her left leg following a scary crash during the women’s downhill during the opening weekend of the Milan Cortina Olympics.

American skier Lindsey Vonn said Friday she'll need at least two more surgeries after breaking her left leg in a crash during her downhill race at the Winter Olympics last weekend. Vonn said earlier this week she was recovering from her third surgery for the injury.

Lindsey Vonn remains hospitalized awaiting surgery after crashing 13 seconds into her Olympic comeback race. The American skier competed with a ruptured ACL and faces a fourth surgery.
