Brentford signed England international Jordan Henderson on a two-year deal and described the midfielder as “one of the most influential leaders” in the Premier League.

Ajax and Club Brugge are nearing a deal for Carlos Forbs, with the 21-year-old winger awaiting a final agreement between the clubs. Club Brugge submitted a bid to Ajax last week, stating an asking price of around eight million euros, excluding bonuses. The fixed amount Ajax will ultimately receive is slightly lower.

Jordan Henderson has left Ajax after the Dutch club agreed to end his contract a year early.The England midfielder, who joined the Dutch giants in January 2024, was under contract until June 2026 but is now free to join another club.
