LeBron James has earned plenty of titles throughout his 22-year NBA career. The title of "Dr." could be next. Tuesday, The Ohio State University's Board of Trustees approved the awarding of an honorary doctorate to the 21-time All-Star.

LeBron never went to college, but attendance isn't necessary for honorary doctorates. The practice is done by schools that wish to recognize an individual's achievements despite the lack of completion of any formal academic studies. In the case of LeBron James, his achievements cannot be understated.
