At long last, the Dallas Wings have won a regular season WNBA game in 2025, as they defeated the (still winless) Connecticut Sun by a score of 109-87 on May 27. Opponent aside, this was the best team performance that the Wings have put together this year,

The rookie went off against the Connecticut Sun, putting up 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds, two steals, and a block as the Dallas Wings won 109-87, securing their first victory of the season. She was efficient as well, finishing 8-of-10 from the field.

Once the ball was tipped, Bueckers proceeded to assist on the first three Dallas buckets of the night. She then hit back-to-back jumpers to spot the Wings an 11-5 lead as she scored or assisted on each of Dallas' first five field goals. By halftime, she had 15 points, five rebounds and four assists, and the Wings were in control with a 56-42 lead.
