Social Security recipients who get Supplemental Security Income benefits are on a normal schedule for July. SSA could withhold money due to overpayment

A minor scheduling irregularity left recipients with two checks in May. While that won't occur in July, it will happen again this year.

SSI recipients will receive their July 2025 payment on Tuesday, July 1, in accordance with the normal schedule. After receiving two checks in May due to calendar shifts, payments will now resume monthly.
