By Aditya Kalra and Munsif Vengattil NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Nearly all the iPhones exported by Foxconn from India went to the United States between March and May, customs data showed, far above the 2024 average of 50% and a clear sign of Apple's efforts to bypass high U.

Foxconn dramatically increased iPhone shipments from India to the US. This shift comes as Apple navigates trade challenges. Chinese smartphone exports to the US have significantly decreased. Apple is investing heavily in Indian production.

Apple rerouted 97% of its India-made iPhones to the U.S. between March and May to avoid steep China tariffs, as Trump threatens a 25% levy on devices manufactured outside America.
