There is a epidemic of oblique injuries running through the Rangers outfield. Adolis García, whose World Series run in 2023 was cut short by an oblique injury, was scratched from Tuesday’s game against the Destination Unknown Athletics after complaining of side soreness.
The Rangers got good news on Adolis García on Wednesday. García’s oblique strain is “pretty mild” and “not quite a Grade 1,” Rangers manager Bruce Bochy announced. The club expects the All-Star outfielder to return to the field quicker than Wyatt Langford,
The MRI will be on Garcia's left oblique, the same one that he injured during the Rangers' World Series run two years ago.
