It’s another day, another #1 finish for Back in Action on Netflix’s Top 10 charts for movies. But this romantic action flick has a much bigger feat set in its sights.

Back In Action marks Jamie Foxx’s second Netflix release since being hospitalized after falling ill in April 2023. In December 2024, the Texas native released the Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Was, his first stand-up film in over two decades.

The 2025 movie schedule ushered in the return of Cameron Diaz, who came out of retirement to star in Netflix’s Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx. So far, the film has trended high amongst other titles on the streamer,
