The United States’ Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, on Friday said it has terminated 388 employees hired over the last two years. EPA spokesperson, Molly Vaseliou made this disclosure in a statement on Friday Vaseliou said the termination exercise will align its workforce with President Donald Trump’s energy dominance policy agenda.

The terminated workers are worried not only for themselves, but for what the layoffs could mean for the populations they serve.

Caroline Arkesteyn was locked out of all of her work devices on Friday, Feb. 14. On Monday, Feb. 19, she received an email saying her termination was rescinded.
