PHILADELPHIA − By now, after leading the Eagles to two Super Bowls in three seasons and to the playoffs in all four of his seasons as a full-time starter, Jalen Hurts should be revered like Patrick Mahomes is with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tom Brady was with the New England Patriots.

Jalen Hurts certainly knows how to make a statement.

Former Alabama Crimson Tide and current Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was the MVP of Super Bowl LIX, finishing with 293 total yards and three touchdowns. Two of his touchdowns were through the air, while the other was on the ground.

The team has earned a second Lombardi Trophy for their efforts, and Jalen Hurts is the reigning MVP of football's biggest game. It's noteworthy that he is now being mentioned by a national voice as an early candidate for the Most Valuable Player award at the NFL Honors next February.

The Eagles QB is focused on the job at hand and the upcoming 2025 season, and he’s not worried about any of the noise out there about how he plays football.
