The Pittsburgh Steelers, but more specifically, HC Mike Tomlin thought that Russell Wilson was their best bet at winning the Super Bowl last season. Benching Justin Fields for Russ, the latter of the signal callers went on a nice run until he and the OC started budding heads and ended the season on a five-game losing streak.

Pittsburgh Steelers ownership said less than two months ago that it was intent on bringing back either Russell Wilson or Justin Fields as the starting QB in 2025, but the likelihood of either outcome has significantly decreased in the weeks since.

There are arguments both for and against bringing back either Wilson or Fields, but picking between one of them is also the Steelers' most logical remaining option.
