A federal judge temporarily blocked Donald Trump's attempt to deport alleged Venezuelan gang members using the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. Trump claimed the Tren de Aragua gang posed a national security threat.

In a proclamation, Trump said Tren de Aragua is "undertaking hostile actions and conducting irregular warfare" against the U.S.
