Reigning champions England defend their title and try to become just the second nation to win back-to-back Women's EUROs when the 2025 tournament begins on July 2.

Lionesses’ coach Sarina Wiegman said she “felt tension” before England's bounce back Euros win against the Netherlands. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday (9 July), the Dutch captain said she found it “hard” after the England Women’s team lost 2-1 to France on Saturday (5 July).

France beat Wales 4-1 to all but dump Wales out of Euro 2025, but history was made as Jess Fishlock scored the Wales women's first ever goal in a major international tournament. Add to that Sophie Ingle's Euro debut after 10 months out injured and a second Euro defeat doesn't seem so negative.
