The Fourth of July holiday weekend could include a subtropical or tropical depression from near Florida to off the Southeast coast.

Winds are expected to gust to 25 miles per hour at times as a low-pressure system works its way across the Deep South and into the eastern Gulf.

We’ll likely see an area of low pressure develop along the same front stalled north of Florida this weekend. This could lead to a slow developing tropical depression off the northeast coast this weekend or early next week that would drift away from the central Florida coastline next week.
