Actress Hunter Schafer says the listed gender on her passport has been changed. Schafer, who is transgender, opened up about the incident in a recent TikTok video where she explained that after receiving a new passport, her gender had been changed from female to male.

Actress Hunter Schafer said she was issued a passport recently with her gender marker changed to male; this comes after President Donald Trump issued an executive order stating the U.S will only recognize two sexes.

Schafer, who has had her gender listed as female on government identification since she was a teen, said her new passport would make life "harder." The Euphoria star said it means she would have to "out" herself to border agents.
