Notre Dame shortstop Estevan Moreno was selected in the 20th and final round of the MLB Draft on Monday by the Seattle Mariners.

Anderson, 21, led the LSU Tigers to an NCAA title as a draft-eligible sophomore and he led all NCAA pitchers in strikeouts.

The local kid went to the Mariners' most bitter rival Sunday, as Houston selected Mount Vernon star Xavier Neyens with the 21st pick in the 2025 MLB draft.
