The Miami Dolphins started the third day of their 2025 NFL draft by trading out of the fourth round. When the Dolphins were on the clock, at pick No. 116, they traded with the Houston Texans to get a 2026 third-round pick.

The Dolphins traded away three picks: a second-rounder (No. 48 overall), a third-rounder (98) and a fourth-rounder (135). They received the 37th pick and a fifth-round pick (143), which they used to take Maryland defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
