A fisherman discovered the body of 22-year-old Viterbo University student Eliotte Heinz in the Mississippi River, miles from where she was last seen in La Crosse.

Eliotte Heinz, a 22-year-old graduate student in Wisconsin was found dead on Wednesday after going missing over the weekend, officials said.

The remains of Eliotte Heinz, a missing Wisconsin graduate student, were recently recovered from the Mississippi River, police said on July 23.
