A wet and rainy Florida could soon see even more precipitation in the coming days, according to the National Weather Service, which has warned the Gulf Coast will face a flood-generating system that could form into Tropical Storm Dexter.
A broad area of low pressure near the Gulf Coast is creating disorganized showers and thunderstorms. This disturbance will not become Tropical, however heavy rains are moving into Southern and Central as the Low moves into Coastal Louisiana Thursday evening. It will turn northward into the Mississippi valley over the next couple of days.
