South Korea’s impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol appeared in a Seoul court on Thursday for his first trial hearing on charges of insurrection in the country’s first criminal prosecution of an incumbent leader.

The final hearing of President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment trial will be held next week, the Constitutional Court said Thursday. The hearing has been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the legal teams of the National Assembly and Yoon will each be asked to present their closing arguments,
