Manchester United have made Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko their preferred targets as they search for a new striker, sources have told ESPN.

United are in talks over a deal for RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko but face competition from Newcastle, who are looking at replacements for Alexander Isak. Ruben Amorim is in the market for a striker this summer and United have reportedly identified PSG forward Kolo Muani as an alternative option.

United have identified Aston Villa figurehead Watkins, 29, as their preferred target but the 22-year-old RB Leipzig frontman Sesko is also under consideration as they approach the final four weeks of the transfer window.
