Thousands of protesters gathered in front of the Fayette County Courthouse as part of a nationwide "No Kings" protest organized by a grassroots organization.

Millions were expected to gather in “No Kings” demonstrations in over 1,500 cities on Saturday, the same day the Army is celebrating its 250th anniversary on Trump’s birthday.

Protesters in Georgia are planning a day of defiance against Trump, with events in Atlanta and other cities nationwide.

The organization is made up of EMTs, nurses, and paramedics who will be at the protest, ready to respond to medical emergencies ranging from dehydration and heat stroke to injuries caused by potential police force.

Unions that rely on taxpayer-funded dues have taken prominent roles in organizing the “No Kings” protests that are set to be held across the nation on Saturday.

The No Kings Day of Defiance protests will happen during the military parade in Washington on Saturday for the Army’s 250th anniversary — which coincides with Trump’s birthday.
