Dubai will launch self-driving taxi trials this year after the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) signed a landmark agreement with Uber and WeRide to pilot autonomous vehicles in the emirate.
WeRide, which already launched robotaxis in Abu Dhabi in 2021, now deepens its presence in the UAE with this Dubai pilot.
