The Indianapolis 500, The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, is set for its 109th running on Memorial Day Weekend when checkered flag waves at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
After they developed the first iteration of Driver’s Eye, the team got it into Formula E racing in 2020, and was able to finalize the development of the tech, testing it in Formula 1 in 2021—and giving race fanatics a new, visceral way to experience the sport. It gained ground, and in 2023 became mandatory in Formula 1.
The Indy 500 is less than a week away and preparation is in full swing. The 33 drivers vying for the title will head to the track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway today for practice ahead of Sunday’s big race.
