There's one major game hitting Game Pass this week, but if Avowed isn't your style we have plenty of other excellent new Xbox games you can play this weekend.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X now have access to free anime movies.

Not every one of Legion's series shakeups landed in the same way - but its rendition of the UK's capital is a seriously impressive feat.

So, sure, GamePass is reasonably successful for what it is — but it definitely hasn’t changed the world like Netflix did to Hollywood. People are still mostly buying new games, sometimes even still on a disc from Best Buy or Walmart. Streaming a game to your phone or TV over the cloud remains pretty niche.

The Xbox Game Pass content catalog receives two more February 2025 titles, only one of which is available on the Standard tier.

If Microsoft succeeds, Game Pass could come to Sony's PlayStation and give players a way to play Xbox's games on rival platforms for the first time.
