The New England Patriots are not the only team in the AFC East hiring a new head coach this offseason. The New York Jets are in the same boat, and on Thursday filled their vacancy: Aaron Glenn, former defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions,

Aaron Glenn was hired to be their 19th full-time head coach on Wednesday. Glenn, who was the Jets’ first-round draft choice in 1994 and played eight seasons for the team, spent the past four years as the Lions defensive coordinator.
